  • Charges   of  misdemeanor  may  be  tried  at  any  place  within  the
      territorial jurisdiction of the court. All other charges shall be  tried
      in the judicial district of the court in which the offense is alleged to
      have  been  committed.  An accused person need not be arraigned or tried
      before the judge signing or issuing the summons or warrant, but  may  be
      arraigned  or  tried  before  any judge of the court; provided, however,
      that whenever trial has  been  commenced,  it  shall  be  continued  and
      concluded  by  and  before  the same judge before whom it was commenced,
      except as hereinbefore provided.
