Section 1765. Preparation of annual budget, notification and collection of payments

  • 1. The annual budget of the authority for the operation of the  district for the next ensuing year shall be adopted not later  than  the
      last day of September in each year. For the first year of its operation,
      the authority shall use the budget adopted for said year by the board of
      managers of the Salamanca hospital district which it shall succeed.
        2. The authority after adoption of its annual budget shall immediately
      notify  each  of  the participating municipalities of its annual payment
      determined in accordance with the provisions of this statute  after  the
      authority has adopted a resolution fixing said amounts.
        3.  The participating municipalities shall pay their respective annual
      payments to the treasurer of the authority not later than the  last  day
      of  March,  annually,  except  that  the city of Salamanca shall pay its
      annual payment to the treasurer of the  authority  not  later  than  the
      first  day of June, annually. The yearly payments are due and payable as
      of said respective dates.
