Chapter 39. OFFICE OF PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION |
Section 871. Powers and duties

a. The office of payroll administration shall have the power and duty to: (1) support the implementation of a computerized payroll management system, (2) maintain the integrity and accuracy of the payroll system, (3) develop uniform procedures for payroll processing and development, (4) distribute and account for payroll and administer payroll deductions, (5) render services to, and receive information and assistance from, public corporations upon such terms and conditions as may be agreed to by the office and each such corporation. b. All city agencies shall cooperate with the office as may be necessary and proper to ensure efficient operation of the payroll management system.
