Section 205. Remedy not exclusive

The preceding provisions of this article
  do not preclude any other remedy by action or otherwise,  now  existing,
  for  the  enforcement  of  a  lien against personal property, or bar the
  right to recover so much of the  debt  as  shall  not  be  paid  by  the
  proceeds of the sale of the property.
