Section 4403. Registration

Latest version.
  • (a) The trustees of every employee welfare fund
shall register such fund with the superintendent within three months of
commencing to do business in this state. Such registration shall be in
such form and shall contain such information relating to the
organization, operations and affairs of such fund as may be prescribed
      by the superintendent.
        (b) If it is found that the conditions which originally required
registration with the superintendent have ceased to exist and that new
conditions exist which would not require the registration of an employee
welfare fund with either the superintendent of banks or the
superintendent of insurance, then the superintendent of insurance may,
on application of the trustees or on his own motion, cancel the
      registration of such fund.
