Section 770. Effect on actions and proceedings

1. Suits may be brought and maintained against a consolidated local government entity in any of the courts of the state in the same manner as against any other local government entity. 2. In any action or proceeding pending on the effective date of consolidation to which any component local government entity is a party, the consolidated local government entity may be substituted in its place and the action or proceeding may be prosecuted to judgment as if consolidation had not taken place. * NB Effective March 21, 2010
