Section 401. Definitions

As used in this article, unless a different meaning clearly appears from the context, the following terms shall have the following meanings: 1. "Flag" shall mean the flag of the United States of America. 2. "Public building" shall mean all buildings including grounds and premises adjacent or appurtenant thereto or connected thereto belonging to the state, county, town, village, school district or any other political or civil subdivision of state or local government. 3. "Local agency" shall include all county, city, town and village governing bodies, all other public corporations, special districts and school districts in the state. 4. "State agencies" shall include any department, division, board, bureau, commission, office, agency, authority or public corporation of the state.
