Section 71-0913. Reciprocal enforcement of violations in boundary waters

  • If  and  when the state of Vermont, or the state of New Jersey, or the
      state of Pennsylvania, or the state of  Connecticut,  or  the  state  of
      Rhode  Island,  as  the  case  may be, shall enact a similar law for the
      arrest and punishment of violations of the conservation law or fish laws
      of such state or of the provisions listed in section  71-0501  or  under
      titles 5 through 15 inclusive and title 33 of this article, committed or
      attempted  by  any  person  fishing in any waters or parts thereof lying
      between such state and the state of New York, any  conservation  officer
      or other person, who is authorized to make arrests for violations of the
      conservation  or  fish laws of such state or of the provisions listed in
      section 71-0501 or under titles 5 through 15 inclusive and title  33  of
      this article, shall have power and authority to make arrests on any part
      of  such  waters  between  such  state and the State of New York, or the
      shores thereof, and to take the person so  arrested  for  trial  to  the
      state  in  which  the violation was committed and there to prosecute him
      according to the laws of such state.
