Section 914. Duties of deputy county clerks

  • The deputy county clerks of
      each of the counties comprising the city of New York shall,  subject  to
      the  provisions  of  the  public  officers  law, have all the powers and
      fulfill all the duties of the county clerk in his absence and  shall  be
      subject to the same obligations and conditions prescribed for the county
      clerk while he is performing his duties.
