Section 5-424. Certain acts not to be affected

This subchapter shall not be
  construed to repeal, affect or modify chapter nine hundred forty-two  of
  the  laws  of  eighteen  hundred  ninety-six,  nor chapter seven hundred
  fifty-two of the laws of nineteen hundred four.
