Section 24-113. Display of permits, certificates and other notices; removal or mutilation prohibited

(a) Any permit, certificate or registration required by this code shall be displayed in the vicinity of the equipment on the premises designated on the permit or certificate, or in the vicinity of the equipment which will be operated or supervised, or in the case of registration pursuant to subdivision (b) of section 24-109 of this code, in the vicinity of the premises designated on the registration. (b) A notice containing the provisions of subchapters six, seven and eight of this chapter, or a summary of them, shall be displayed in the vicinity of the equipment of any vessel while it is in waters within the jurisdiction of the city of New York. The notice shall be in the language of the country of registry, and in the language commonly spoken by the crew of the vessel. (c) A notice printed in not less than twelve point type shall be displayed in the vicinity of fuel burning equipment using residual oil containing information as may be prescribed by the commissioner.
